INSTRUCTIONAL COACHING FOR BEHAVIOR

Instructional coaching is a powerful method of partnering with educators to enhance their practice and improve student outcomes.  Through my work with the Instructional Coaching Group (Jim Knight), I am trained to assist educators in addressing issues of both classroom management and student engagement.  Providing assistance to highly-trained professionals can sometimes be complex.  Instructional coaching provides a proven format for effectively providing this level of consultation.

BEHAVIORAL CONSULTATION

As a BCBA, I provide staff consultation, conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), write behavior intervention plans (BIP) and assist in setting up systems to support staff in implementing effective behavior change procedures.  My specialized background ensures that the interventions that I create are designed for the school environment and take into account a student's history and their social, emotional and academic development.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

As a behavior analyst in the Windham Southeast Supervisory Union, I was instrumental in creating innovative and effective inclusion programming for students diagnosed with autism and emotional disturbance.  Contact me if you are seeking assistance in creating a specialized behavioral program or modifying an existing one.

SOCIAL EMOTIONAL ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT

Research indicates that academic success is linked to students' social and emotional competencies.  While there is a movement toward school district's adopting new SEL programming, the process can sometimes be overwhelming.  With my experience reviewing SEL screeners, using SEL assessment platforms and evaluating intervention programs, I can assist a school/district in streamlining their efforts in order to best affect student outcomes.

BCBA SUPERVISION

Since 2012,I have been training educators to become BCBAs.  If you have staff who are working toward their certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, I can provide them with high quality supervision that meets both the stringent guidelines established by the BACB and prepares them to pass the BCBA exam.
